Exploring Wawa Dam

So let start our adventure! First we wanted to see one of the famous tourist spot there which is the bountiful Wawa Dam. To go there you must ride a moap and the fare is only P10.00. Isnt it great? So after we dropped out, we will first pay P2.00 for the entrance fee.

This will go to the tourism dept. of Rodriguez for maintenance. Then we’re gonna walk to a steep and rocky road (since its a hill) so along the road we can see how people there make their living. Some of them sells fruits, some have sari-sari store, but most of the men there built cottages, bridges and raft made by bamboo for tourists. What a breath taking experience, although  we walk for almost 30 minutes. The good thing is, the people there is very friendly and hospitable like we greet us “good afternoon and Hi”.

Before we arrive at Wawa Dam, we saw different rock formations; white rock to be exact and theres a hideous snake head shape which caught my attention and the emerald like water that really amazed me. I also saw a man made holes and also the famous “Pamitinan Cave” which are used as a place of refuge of the Katipunan way back World War II. So after that, we’re finally here at Wawa Dam.
